- Snap a menu or a drive-thru board and see what's seed oil-free before you order.
- Verified restaurants commit to their cooking oils, and we revoke verification when diner evidence says otherwise.

How Seed Oil Scout rates restaurants
- Diners ask staff what oil the fryer and the kitchen use, then report it in the app. As of October 2026 there are 57,000+ reports.
- Each restaurant's reports are reviewed together. Newer, more specific evidence, like a staff answer about the fryer oil or a published ingredient list, outweighs older or vaguer reports.
- A report that doesn't mention cooking oil doesn't move the score.
- Verified restaurants pledge their cooking oils. When the evidence contradicts a pledge, the verification is revoked.
